Hanvon released a new biometrics recognition product – “FACE GO” on the 9th China International Exhibition on Public Safety and Security (Security China 2008). China Security 2008 was held on Oct. 9th – 12th 2008 in International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, which is authorized by Ministry of Public Security of China Science and Technology Bureau, sponsored and undertook by China Security and Protection Industry Association. “FACE GO” was the world’s first embedded facial recognition system with “double lens”, and gained Innovative Products Awards of Security China 2008. This was the only product won the prize in the industry of access control systems. “FACE GO” used “Dual Sensor™ V2.0” technology which Hanvon had completely independent intellectual property rights. This technology adopted double lens and a brand new algorithm of facial recognition. It successfully brought facial recognition system from PC to embedded industry, and raised the level of facial recognition technology from 1:1 face matching to 1:N matching. “FACE GO” had the special inclined design which could recognize people with height from 145cm to 195cm in the nature standing position with the head down.
